Sixteen years ago, I watched the election returns in the Evergreen State College Library with the Evergreen Queer Alliance (well, it was the LGBTC at the time) as we cheered on Clinton.
In the 16 years since that day, I've watched and wept for the country as it fractured around me.
It feels so good to be crying because I'm happy, because it feels like maybe, just maybe, those fractures are mending.
