I finally got to see this week's Buffy episode last night (p'tooooeeeing once again in WFTC's general direction), and enjoyed it a great deal, not being particularly invested one way or the other in questions of canonical consistency as regards the nature of vampires, souls, etc. My only comment--not that I've read everyone else's reactions, but I'm surprised I haven't seen more people remarking on the ( one moment that really had me leaping up with huzzahs... )
Spent some time this morning skimming through new war/politics threads on MetaFilter, a sure way to depress the crap out of myself. This link and thread were perhaps the most disquieting. To cheer myself up, I checked out the LJ of Kim Jong Il, which, OK, call me a goof but it made me laugh maniacally.
