Thanks for the welcome to the battered but proud ranks! Now that I've finally figured out how to capture, and actually have some clips to begin monkeying with, I'm starting to actually get a grip on just how looooong that road ahead is.
Most vid programs need to be switched between capture and play to listen to audio.
Ah, OK, that's good to know. I thought I was maybe doing something wrong.
And yes, save! back up! Carol's been very good about drumming this into my brain, though I'll doubtless forget and crash/lose stuff at times.
