It *is* scary shit, especially when we consider that more and more of the authorities in the public health system are wont to be more interested in treating illness with Jesus than with anything else. In another ten years, we may be back to where we were when I was a gleam in my papa's eye, with pandemics as well as scares.

And some of it is just mother nature being a bitch and dealing with out of control populations her own way.


I'm just old enough to remember polio vaccinations given in sugar cubes.
