Never heard of the Weakerthans, but they'll definitely go on the list, along with Aimee Mann, who is likewise unknown to me. REM -- I actually have Automatic for the People, and dig it greatly, but hadn't even thought of checking out some of their other/earlier stuff (because I am an idjit).
