See, here's the thing--your music entries are what actually launched this whole query and enterprise. I was feeling sad about my dorky lack of musical exposure, and read back through some of your previous LJ entries, came across the one about Jeffrey Foucault, remembered he did Thistledown Tears, which I loved (both song and vid), discovered they have Miles From the Lightning on Rhapsody, listened to it and was blown away, and thought "Well, jeezus, how much other great stuff is out there that I'm totally unaware of?"
So I am definitely, absolutely going to use both your fantastic list here, and your earlier LJ entries, as jumping-off points for much joyful exploration, with huge gratitude.
And re: making mixes -- this is a fantastically generous offer, and normally I would leap upon it, except I also just read your entry about what your life is going to be like for the next couple of months, and so I'd feel very guilty doing anything that would cut even slightly into your time and energy. So -- after you're done with the diss (and the moving, etc.), maybe?
