Ahem.

::tap tap tap::

The story. Is. Posted.

Main page is here. From there you can either access the whole honkin' thing in one 650K document, or you can get it in chunks. If you find any wonky links, please, for the love of god, let me know. I think it's all working, though.

Huge huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] bethbethbeth, [livejournal.com profile] destina, [livejournal.com profile] arallara, and most especially [livejournal.com profile] laurashapiro. They are *goddesses,* I tell you.

And that's all. Over and out. (Tired ... very tired ... a need for many martinis ...)

You posted?!

I know, I can hardly believe it myself <g> I keep clicking the link, and staring stupidly, and thinking "Uhhhh ... well, that must be it, then. Oh christ, did I remember to fix that one screwy scene?"

(Heh, probably not...)

and I'm tired and sleepy and I want to write my essay and study for my seminar and all that within two days and you posted a DS story?

*sigh*

You even used Northwest Passage... *deep sigh*

That song makes me shiver.

I promise to read your story as soon as I can.

{{hug}} I need to write you back about a couple of comments you made in beta, but I am (a) at work, (b) hungover, and (c) braindead. Soon, though. For now, just thanks again, SO much, for all your help!

Congratulations, hon!!

I don't have a martini to offer you, but will you settle for a piece of celebratory cake? I made it myself! *g*

Oooh, cake! ::seizing it, chowing down:: Just what I needed; didn't have a scrap of food in the house this morning. (Nor, after last night, do I have any liquor left. Heh.)

And you *know* how much I owe you, Beth--enormous thanks once again! (Oh, and it's looking like Connexions might be a possibility after all...have to check plane fares and so on. I'll write you!)

Thanks, shell! And hey, *no* rush -- save it for a time when you're feeling non-stressed and cheerful, because I fear this story won't do much to buoy your spirits *g*.

Yay, yay, yay, you, girl!

[Susan does happy fangrrl dance of the F/K variety.]

I don't think I have to tell you how much I am looking forward to reading this. I've already downloaded, formatted, printed and tucked it into it's own little binder and I am determined to read it before I see you at Escapade!

Congratulations!

I downloaded and read your story before I went to sleep last night and woke up feeling so refreshed and energetic. Coincidence?

Well, yeah :) but wow, I just wanted to let you know how wonderful your story was, and how I was crying my eyes out in bed, which is a really good thing. *g*

Spoiler? [ ]

Great job!

kika, thank you so much! While I don't actually set out to make readers cry *g*, it's always enormously moving to me to hear that something I wrote affected someone emotionally. What an amazing rush that is ...

I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks again, very much, for letting me know.
