I would LOVE to hear the whole story at some point, but for now I just want to sling an elegant satin robe over your shoulders and lead you soothingly off, like the handlers do with the boxer who's just taken a dreadful beating and come out on top as Winner and Champeen of the World! Because that is what you clearly are.
And it's incredibly reassuring to know that the closing can have some flex in it -- fortunately, in my case, the market is (if anything) trending downward still, and everyone involved very much wants this sale to go through without any disruption.
