--OK, that whole first chorus I thought I'd really nailed? Looks like ass tonight. But I think if I maybe . . .
--<capture, capture> <drag, drop> <fiddle, fiddle>
--OMG, look at that! Right there, Fraser moves his head on the beat! Fraser, you *rock*!
--OK, this clip really needs to be about a second and half longer. I could slow it to like 90%, but then Fraser would move his head *off* the beat, and that would make me sad. Damn.
--Hmmmm--you know, I wonder if this clip to this particular line is going to get a laugh I don't want. Vecchio, could you please not *smirk* like that?? Hmm, maybe it'll come across as ironic or something, *I* don't know. Must ask Laura to vet it.
--Hey cool! I can trim clips in the left-hand Source monitor!
--Ohhhh-kay, so *that's* what happens when you use the Insert button from the Source monitor. Oopsie.
--What the HELL are those little black frames with red X's doing in there?
--Oh, right. <render, render> Ah, that's good, then.
--Hah! Look at me, eating dinner like a normal person! No pathetic obsessional freaks here, no siree, dinner, getting eaten! In front of the computer, OK, and with crumbs getting all over the keyboard, but still! Dinner! Normal!
--Ms. Tabor, could I ask you to re-record the song and use a male pronoun in that one line? Thank you kindly.
--OK, no way around it, I need to use that scene that has all the credits in it. I wonder if I can figure out this cropping thing of which I have heard tell.
--<half-hour later> Uh, that'd be a "no." Must get Carol over sometime to show me that.
--OK, let's just tighten up that whole first chorus that's almost there, and call it a night, and ... you know what, if you took *that* clip out, and somehow got that *other* one to fit in there ... <fiddle, trim, fiddle>
--Oh my god, it works! It *flows*! And now Victoria's moving on the beat too, bless her evil little heart! Yay me! And now I am shutting down and going to bed like a sane person!
--OK, opening it up one more time, and taking one more look at that lovely, lovely first chorus. And remembering to lock the clips to the Timeline, right.
--And *now* going to bed, for sure.
