Monday: forecast says 20-30% chance of showers in the afternoon; I play it safe and take the bus to and from work, to the tune of $4.00; it stays dry and sunny.
Tuesday: forecast says 20-30% chance of showers in the afternoon; I play it safe and take the bus to and from work, to the tune of $4.00; it stays dry and sunny (albeit wretchedly hot/humid).
Wednesday: forecast says 20-30% chance of showers in the afternoon; I figure Fool me three times, shame on me and ride my bike to work, leaving my umbrella at home; at 4:30 (i.e., quitting time) the heavens open and we get close to an inch of rain.
Bah.
ETA: Also, my next-door neighbors' tree got blown over and smashed their back porch. Good god, y'all.
