I've been following the "Ask My Characters a Question" meme, but had felt a little diffident about inviting such questioning, I suppose because it presumes people have that level of interest in my characters. However, [livejournal.com profile] shellmidwife said she had a question or two for Fraser, and so I'll toss the door open--if you want to ask any of these people anything, go to town! I warn you, though, that they're not always responsive to the questions I ask them (usually along the lines of "And so where in the hell have you been for the last three months??")

Oh, and re: shell's other question in a different entry--confirm, but truly it's no big deal.

That sounds like Vecchio, for sure. Thanks!

I wonder, sometimes, whether Welsh tried to track her because of what she did to Fraser and Vecchio. He doesn't talk to me, but I have a feeling that if Vecchio ever let a hint drop about her that he'd let it lie and keep it off the record, hearsay, inadmissible and therefore never said.

Ohhh, man, this is wonderful! You and Theodosia are really letting loose the plot bunnies, aren't you? *g*

Welsh tracking Victoria, that has some amazingly great possibilities, and I'm going to put it on the back brain to simmer. And I think you're absolutely right about how he'd react if Vecchio told him. I don't know that Vecchio *would*--I never got the sense they were all that close--but if he did, Welsh would nod, and let it be.

It wouldn't even have to be something Vecchio *said* -- just a look on his face if Victoria was mentioned, and Welsh picking up on it and asking Vecchio if he was all right, and Vecchio saying, "fine. No problem." Or something like that. Harding doesn't miss a thing.
