I've been following the "Ask My Characters a Question" meme, but had felt a little diffident about inviting such questioning, I suppose because it presumes people have that level of interest in my characters. However, [livejournal.com profile] shellmidwife said she had a question or two for Fraser, and so I'll toss the door open--if you want to ask any of these people anything, go to town! I warn you, though, that they're not always responsive to the questions I ask them (usually along the lines of "And so where in the hell have you been for the last three months??")

Oh, and re: shell's other question in a different entry--confirm, but truly it's no big deal.

Don't be sorry--he deserved the smack. ::g:: And thanks for asking the question--it's one I wanted answered, too. 'Cause y'know, when I read the story the second time, I realized the scene that tore me up the most wasn't that scene where...well, we all know what scene, that scene--it was the part where Fraser waited for him all night and Ray came home and Fraser realized what had happened. Because for me, that's when the big crack just opened up right down the middle, that's when I really realized there was no hope. This just wasn't fixable.

::nods:: And also, there's the thing where he *wants* Fraser to kick his ass out, because he can't walk out on his own.

Ow. It still hurts.
