OK, so it's one thing if the neighbors want to have a noisy drunken party on the Saturday night of a three-day weekend, that's no more than could be expected... But a noisy drunken party where people are blowing duck calls at random intervals??

(The bad part is I find myself thinking, "Geez, you know, a box of duck calls is just the thing that Fraser'd think would make a fine addition to a party." I'm picturing him wandering around, entirely sober but very cheerful, blowing one at intervals, and being slightly wounded when Ray tells him to cut it the fuck out.)

God, now it sounds like there's a gang of big drunken mallards in the alley. Luckily it's cool enough that I can shut all the windows. But *egad.*

Y'know, I'm certain it's awful to have to listen to it, but by god the image of a flock of big, drunken ducks hanging around in your alley, annoying passers-by is too hilarious.

*g* P. was here when they first started going, while we were trying to watch an old episode of The Sopranos, and we kept cracking up.
"So, what the fuck, Tony, we gonna whack this asshole or what?"
"QUACK quack quack quack"

Thankfully they subsided by 11 or so, and I was able to get some sleep.
