For future reference, you actually don't have to convert the .mp3 to a .wav; you can just use the .mp3.

And if you want to know about capturing through the computer's DVD player, just let me know; I've trial-and-errored my way through it, and am happy to share what I've figured out. It requires several different programs, and thus *looks* a little intimidating, but is not actually all that difficult; the process just has a lot of steps to it.
