The manual is really *amazingly* useless, at least for a beginner, IMO. I'm looking into stuff like the SAMS guide and "Premiere for Dummies" and suchlike, so I don't have to be bugging friends every five minutes, and one of those might do you instead.

And I mean, hey, if you've got the equipment, and are looking for any reason whatsoever to avoid writing (as well as any necessities of RL like doing dishes or talking to friends), vidding is an *wonderfully* effective timesink.
