I want to believe that:

1. Anna will someday write due South fiction.

2. I will get to meet torch again, in the flesh, sometime in this life.

3. I will actually be able to finish the priest AU and make it something almost as good as it is in my imagination.

4. Paul Gross got to read "Chicago's Most Wanted," loved it as much as he I know he would, and even now is lashing together the funds to film this as The Lost Episode of Due South.

5. Somewhere out there is the alternate version of X-Files seasons 5 and onward, the ones that actually make sense, and they will be released on DVD sometime in my life.

6. Firefly never got cancelled, and it will go on for many more seasons building the extraordinary plot- and character-arcs that we know it had in it.

7. In a fantabulous stroke of fate, all my friends hit the Powerball, one after another, just as it's reached its apogee, and they are freed from the bonds of grunt labor to write and vid and frivol all the day long.

8. My beloved

tightropegirl will get her own TV show, with complete creative control in her hands, and it will be the show Anna talks about in her #9.

9. We really get this teleportation thing working in the near future, and I can visit my friends any time I want.

10. Years from now, after I'm dead, something that I've written will be remembered by someone, somewhere.

And, true, if I were a better person, this list would be all full of world peace and an end to hatred and so on, but ... I could start with these, yeah.
