You know, though I'm still getting a handle on the whole "woobie" concept, I must say that if I ever saw a specimen of woobiehood, it would be poor, beautiful, trying-so-hard, loving, smart, doomed-to-have-his-heart-ripped-out-and-shredded Grey Wellman.

And really, it's an interesting role for CKR; he's never really done anything quite comparable, to my knowledge. I'd really love to see him playing more smart, professional, got-it-together and yet vulnerable guys. (Failing which, I'd settle for an advance copy of Wilby Wonderful. *g*)

Dude, I know. Goddamit, those Grey episodes of Nikita pissed me the hell off, actually -- not so much for Grey, but for Nikita. Her one chance of happiness! And then her bosses are all, like, "We own you, and happiness ain't in your contract, darlin'. Look, you try and be happy and we'll kill him in cold blood, ya got it?"

Grrrr.

It's infuriating, yeah, and yet perfect, in its own twisted way. You realize that Michael's being the *good* guy by almost killing him, that Nikita's *doing him a favor* by breaking his heart. And that Madeleine is being *kind* to Nikita by conveying to her that she doesn't get to have a life any longer, that everything outside of Section is unreal.

Waaahhhh!

The only Nikita I've seen is these two episodes... what kills me is Nikita saying "I'm in prison" at the end to Grey.
