Watched the House season opener (which was a weird and gut-twisty experience after reading the story I linked earlier this evening), and I have only one non-spoilery comment to make:

The compulsion to vid to Hallelujah is apparently one of those things that transcends the bounds of fandom.

Dude, Merry and I cracked the fuck up.

But at least it wasn't the goddamn Rufus Wainwright cover!

I hate that cover. Wasn't too impressed with the one they used either.

Which version was it? I'm still waiting of the John Cale one to show up somewhere.

Sounded like the Jeff Buckley version to me.

Yeah, probably not the reaction they were going for. *g* Did anybody not crack up? Like, in the world?

I wondered if the writers had been checking out all the vids to this song on the Internet. I can't listen to that anymore without thinking of Zoe's magnificent McShep vid. So - I was giggling in all the wrong places. I thought that it was a solid introduction - and Bones. Ah well, BD pretty. The rest - not so much.

also, bad songs. BAD.

The compulsion to SING Hallelujah is apparently something that settles on most male singers. If Frank Sinatra was still alive, god knows we might get a finger-snapping version. *g*
