Interesting site, both amusing and mildly creepy, representing another sort of outpost on this weird cultural borderland that is our fannish turf. Isabel Samaras creates (or recreates) a number of classical paintings, incorporating figures from modern pop culture (often 70s television). M/m slashers might especially appreciate this and this, but there are some interesting femmeslashy images as well, and some that are just plain weird.

Wow. What strange stuff. I actually quite like the two slashy pieces you linked to; they have a certain stylized quality to them that suits me better than most fanart.
