So you know, Wilma? That little hurricane with the funny name that had just barely gotten its chin above the Category 1 level a couple of days ago?

In twelve hours yesterday it turned into the most powerful Atlantic hurricane ever recorded, unofficial pressure record of 881 mb. (Katrina at its strongest dropped to only 902, I think.)

Once again, I'm glued to Jeff Masters's and Steve Gregory's blogs on Weather Underground. Florida people, big worried hugs going out to you -- take care, take care, take care.
