lapillus, who amply deserves every single glowing thing people have been saying about her and more. I sometimes think that she is the Earth-visiting emissary of a species rather more evolved than ours, saner and wiser, and that she decided to stick around here because she finds the Earth-beings endlessly amusing. Wherever she's from, I know I'm very lucky to have her as part of my life.
--Today's discovery: it is a very poor idea to drop a piece of cake (handed to one as part of a co-worker's going-away party) upon one's keyboard, frosting-side down. The worst of it is realizing, as one cleans up, how disgustingly greasy frosting is, along with the stickiness.
